Tomorrow is the Reggae Marathon in Negril, Jamaica! Last year we participated and walked the Reggae Marathon half marathon. It was not easy but it was such a great experience.
If you ever plan to be in Negril, Jamaica in December, do check out the Reggae Marathon. You can participate in the marathon, half marathon or 10k, volunteer or just show up to cheer everyone on.
Whenever we go to Jamaica, we stay at Couples Swept Away in Negril. They are also the sponsors of the Reggae Marathon expo and pasta party the night before the race. The expo and pasta party are held at the awesome sport complex.
So needless to say, we are missing our yearly Jamaican vacation (first time in 5 years) and we are sad about it BUT we were thankful that we got to travel to the Caribbean this year as the winners of the Marriott Resort to Romance beach blogger contest. It still doesn’t make it easy to miss where we call ‘home’.
I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to be able to blog live for the Reggae Marathon in 2012. That would be a blast!
Hopefully we’ll be able to return next year!

Hey Angie. Really appreciated your post. We missed you this year. Almost the same conditions as last year with rain overnight. The day dawned bright and clear however and the temperatures stayed moderate with a nice breeze. And now we are only 364 days from Reggae Marathon 2012.
