AIRBAC sent me one of their travel backpacks for review. My review here is 100% completely my own.
The AIRBAC backpacks have a patented air support system. It helps you feel like you are carrying half the weight. AND it works! Like the site says, it does rest nice and comfy on your waistline no matter what size you are, totally adjusts to a customized fit.
A couple years ago I stopped carrying bags (over the shoulder, backpack, etc.) when traveling because I was having some neck/back issues. Since then I have been using a rolling bag and although I love it, the odd shape makes it a struggle to lift and put in the overhead bins on the airplane.
AIRBAC has bags for everyone. They have business bags, school bags and travel bags.
Here’s some info on a few of their bags:
AIRBAC™ Curve – is a kid friendly, easy-to-use backpack. This AIRBAC™ is built on convenience and can be used as a go-to option for a quick sports getaway.
AIRBAC™ Groovy – is a best-seller among all ages. This unique option is suitable for any occasion and its simplicity is perfect for day-to-day activities.
AIRBAC™ Journey – is a large, everyday backpack, great for outdoor adventures and last-minute travel. With extra storage space, this bag is perfect for holding all of your travel and sporting essentials.
I have one of their Ring travel bags. The reason I chose this one to review over the Journey is because although they look almost similar, the Ring travel backpack fits a larger laptop (17 inch) whereas the other one fits a smaller one. You can read details about each bag on their website.
The first thing I did when it arrived was made sure that my laptop, iPad and other electronics fit well with all my other work stuff I needed to pack in there like folders, notebook, journal, etc. It holds a lot and I probably over packed it!
I just took it on a 2 week trip to Oklahoma and it worked out really well. It was so comfortable to carry/wear walking through all the airports I went through. Most people would probably NOT pack as much as I did in it.
I even had to pack it up one day to prepare for a tornado (that was interesting and another story I will share here on the blog) and it was easy to grab and go into the tornado storm cellar.
I’ll be taking it on two more upcoming trips and now wish Kev had one too since he has some back issues. He could probably pack all he needs for 6 days in this one backpack. I need to learn how to pack lighter that is for sure.
Anyway…..I would say these are the best travel backpacks I have ever come across and would highly recommend them.
Here’s a quick video on the AIRBAC technology and how it all works:
Happy shopping! They are also featured on the Today show, other news stations and more media.
Hopefully you’ll give them a try!
