Workouts and clothes don’t fit yikes

Disclosure: This post may contain referral/affiliate links.

I can’t believe I have now completed 19 days of the 30 Day Shred.  That is quite an accomplishment for me!  This past week I have been more aware of portion control and I definitely need to keep that up because I got a reality check this afternoon when clothes that fit just a mere 7 months ago no longer fit today.  I  was really disgusted because they must fit me in 5 months on our next trip to Jamaica.  So as you can probably imagine, I’m feeling a little down about that.  I just need to make a plan and get my butt in gear.  Plus I need to buy a few new bathing suits (tankini’s) before vacation as well.

Kev and I have plans to start going back to the gym this week!  I think I mentioned it last week but we plan to do Aqua Fit class on Monday’s, cardio/weights on Wednesday’s and spin/cycling class on Saturday’s  & Sunday’s.  If we have any other free days we’ll go then too. But I plan to also keep working out at home even after I finish the 30 Day Shred.  I’m thinking about how I want to mix it up.  I’ll probably do a variety of in home workouts, use resistance bands, exercise ball and all that fun stuff.  I MUST get back at it and meet my goals!

Will you help me stay accountable?  I really appreciate all of you very much.

Just in to show you some love…I’m looking to lose 15 pounds by end of Sept…not sure it’s possible but I’ve been doing something called CrossFit since May – not boring at all, and my body has changed so much!! I’ll keep you accountable, I’d even be an email buddy!

My pre-preg clothes don’t fit yet either. It’s weird – I’m on day #15, but I don’t think I’ve lost any weight yet. I do think I’m stronger though (and that makes me happy).

Thanks Megan! How are you doing? Definitely need to get this email buddy thing going. Maybe after summer?

Stephanie, I totally feel stronger after doing the 30 Day Shred. It’s a great feeling. Before you know it, you’ll be back in those pre-preg clothes.
