First week back to workouts after quite a long break due to a linear foot fracture. As you can see I heave to ease back in so you won’t see big workout times listed here and probably the same for this coming week as well.
Spinning is the best workout for me as it’s the least pressure on my foot. I did try a Walk Away the Pounds workout but I could feel my foot start to ache. Took it very easy on that workout but didn’t want to chance anything.
It felt really good to get back into the home gym. I can’t wait to get back to my normal schedule but for now this is what I have to do.
I worked out 5 days this week, Monday-Friday. Here’s what I did.
Monday-
Spinning
Time: 20 min.
Weights: Upper Body
Time: 10 min.
Tuesday-
Spinning
Time: 20 min.
Wednesday-
Walk Away the Pounds DVD 1 mile
Time: 13 min.
Thursday-
Spinning
Time 20 min.
Friday-
Spinning
Time: 20 min.
Weights: Upper Body
Time: 10 min.
So the plan for this week is the same Monday-Friday. Spinning and upper body workouts. I am going to attempt to mow the lawn as well. We’ll see how that goes.
How did your workouts go?

Hi Angie.
Easing back to your exercise a little at a time is definitely better than not exercising at all. You have that great sense of accomplishment, and it gives you a base to increase your workouts safely. I’ve been out of the loop a little myself, so I’m easing my way back into walking.

Thanks Valerie! I have struggled the last two days, no workouts but hopefully I’ll get in something this weekend. I know I have to take it easy and maybe working out every day was not the smartest thing at this point. We’ll go every other for now.
