FREE Fitness Journal/Fitness Tracker
Anyone who is trying to get fit or eat healthy can benefit from using a fitness journal. A lot of people start an exercise program with the best intentions, but it doesn’t take long for their original enthusiasm to fizzle out. Using a fitness journal is one more piece of motivation to help you stick to your fitness goals.
I recently started the official Sublime Reflection Fitness group on facebook and wanted to provide the group a simple way to track their meals, exercise sessions, and the progress they are making. I’ve always loved journaling of any sort, so creating an exercise journal was the first thing I thought of. I know there are lots of apps and online tracking programs, but there’s nothing quite like using a piece of paper and pen. The tracking sheets are downloadable PDF’s that can be reprinted as many times as you need. You can put them in a binder, hang them on your fridge, or just put them where you’ll see them as a constant reminder of your goals.
It’s very motivating to see a tracking sheet full of the workouts you’ve done, or marking down another inch or two lost. The food trackers are helpful to plan what you’re going to eat for the week, as well as to look back on if you’re not making the progress you’d like or to see why you’re not feeling well. It’s much harder to eat something unhealthy when you know you have to write it down. When you see that consistent workouts and clean eating lead to lost weight, it’s motivation to work even harder.
The download includes:
- Weekly Food Journal
- Weekly Meal Plan
- Daily Food Journal
- 3 Month Progress Tracker
- Cardio Exercise Tracker
- Strength Training Tracker
I’m currently offering the fitness journal for free. Please visit Sublime Reflection to get your copy.

Looks great! I encourage my clients to track their progress. For now, I find just jotting down notes in my calendar/planner works best for me. I can’t live without it!
