Let’s try another menu plan for the week. Goal is to eat at home this week to save money and eat healthy. Can we do it?
Our Menu Plan for the Week
Monday- Soup (mushroom/asparagus) & Sandwich
Tuesday- Crockpot Tamale Pie (going to try my hand at this)
Wednesday- Leftovers or Fish and Chips (fries)
Thursday- Homemade Soup yum yum yum
Friday- It’s a toss up….could be Spaghetti/biscuit bread or Mahi Mahi burgers (me)/pork chops (him) plus BBQ baked beans.
Saturday & Sunday- Always up in the air.
We have been cooking a lot with Coconut Oil and I LOVE it. In fact, soon, I’ll be sharing more about the benefits of coconut oil and reviewing a new (to me) brand of coconut oil plus doing a giveaway. Be on the lookout.
I’m also working on our Christmas menu plans. I’m thinking it’s going to be a seafood Christmas (shrimp/lobster/crab cakes) and some other goodies. We usually just have hubby’s famous chili on Christmas Eve when the kids come over. I would like to perfect some corn bread before then too.
And yes, I skipped right past Thanksgiving. Kev and I are home and alone this year so I think we are going to have lunch at the Pita Inn. It’s a DELICIOUS Mediterranean restaurant that we just tried for the 1st time and fell in love with it. Yum! And then maybe I can talk him in to helping me decorate the house for Christmas.
