Quest protein bars had been on my radar for a long time but I wasn’t sure I would love them. I heard so many great things about them so I knew I wanted to just grab a box and hope for the best.
I decided to purchase a box of the chocolate peanut butter Quest protein bars. Not so thrilled. Not horrible but not mouth watering good either.
Definitely an acquired taste and pretty chewey. I even took some advice and warmed it up a little in the microwave. It just stuck to the bowl lol
I was pretty bummed but I do want to give some of their other bars a try so I should probably grab the box of assorted ones to see if I might enjoy another flavor.
According to many people they are the best protein bars. I honestly don’t know but here’s what I know about them.
Quest protein bars are:
- Low Carb
- High in Protein & Fiber
- Gluten Free
- Made with All Natural Ingredients
- An easy & quick snack
I wouldn’t mind trying the mint chocolate, vanilla almond crunch, PB&J or the strawberry cheesecake.
Quest not only has protein bars but they have protein powders, chips, pasta and hold me down I just found out they have Cravings peanut butter cups. I’m excited to try a variety of their products sometime. You’ll get a kick out of their Quest Protein You Tube channel so check it out.
Are you for Team Quest?
I would love to know your favorite Quest products. Do share!

Am I the only one in the world who has still not tried Quest bars? I do like so many other protein bars… PROMAX, Pure Protein, CLIF Builders and Smart For Life…
Angie says
Probably not, Elle. I like Clif too!

I like you had heard they were just the best things, so I was anxious to try. I bought one strawberry cheesecake bar from Kroger and was not impressed at all. Maybe the other flavors are better but that was not good at all to me.
I don’t want to waste calories for something that isn’t at all tasty to me.
Angie says
I hear ya Meloni! Thanks for the heads up. I guess we won’t know unless we try.

I do like Quest bars. The best one, though, is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Two ways to eat it. Either heat in the Microwave 10 to 15 seconds. Or, cut it like cookies and bake in the oven at 450 for a little while (trial and error – only takes a very little time).
They were out of those at the store the other day and they told DH that the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is their biggest seller out of the Quest Bars.
I will say that the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough does have sucralose (artificial sweetener in it) while some others do not (such as the Chocolate Peanut Butter). This is about the only thing I eat with artificial sweetener and then only a couple of times a weeks so I’m OK about it, but did want to mention it.

Kitty, thanks so much for sharing and sorry for the delay in responding (vacation and stepson’s wedding). That one sounds delish, I’ll have to try it out.
