Workouts were OK this week but definitely could have been better.  So far I have done 4 days of the Fat Loss Quickie program and I really have been enjoying the quick workouts in the morning most times combining them with other in home and gym workouts.  Hoping for great energy this week and good workouts.  Here is what I accomplished this week.

Time: 25 min.
Calories burned: 141

*Elliptical
Time: 30 min.
Miles:
Calories burned: 342

*Spin class
Time: 45 min.
Calories burned: 520

Tuesday-

*Fat Loss Quickie Strength & Cardio
Time: 29 min.
Calories burned: 145

*Walk outside
Time: 15 min.

Wednesday-

*Fat Loss Quickie Strength & Cardio
Time: 24 min.
Calories burned: 129

*Walk outside
Time: 15 min.

*Elliptical
Time: 35 min.
Miles: 2.96
Calories burned: 388

Thursday-

Day Off

Friday-

*Fat Loss Quickie Strength & Cardio
Time: 19 min.
Calories burned: 120

*Turbo Jam 20 Minute Workout
Time: 20 min.
Calories burned: 185

Saturday-

Day off except for walking downtown Chicago

Sunday-

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr. 13 min.
Calories burned: 718

My goals for the week:

-4 gym days (Spin, Cardio, etc.)
-3 days Fat Loss Quickie workouts
-2 days other in home workouts (cardio and strength)
-3 days exercise ball work

*Edited my Fat Loss Quickie workout days and number of days on the exercise ball.  I really thought about it and decided that I don’t want to overdo it and looking at my goal list before, I was starting to do that and we all know when I do too much, I inevitably hurt myself so that is why I changed it.

How did your workouts go this past week?  And what are you goals for this coming week?

    Dear Angie,

I started a blog today to document my journey to health and happiness. When I came upon your blog I was intrigued by your last entry. You really exercise a lot. I’m afraid that I may have set my exercise goals too low. I took a water aerobics class this morning and plan on doing it again tomorrow morning. After reading your blog, I think I may go to the gym a bit early and try to ride the bike for 30 minutes and do a few sit-ups before I join the class. I admire your decision to listen to your body. I hope that I’m tuned in to mine! Warmest Regards, Denise Burks

    Denise,
I’m so excited to hear you started a blog to document your journey. I’ll take a peek soon. It seems like I exercise a lot but I don’t think I really do all that much however when I first started my new healthy lifestyle back in 2005 I was no where close to be able to do what I am able to accomplish now.

Your exercise goals should be reasonable for what you can personally do. You can always add or take away depending on how you feel.

Sometimes I overdo it and that is not a good thing. Be cautious and listen to your body. Wishing you much success in your journey.
