This quote always seems to pull me through when I feel I’m in a tough spot. This past week has been hard and I’m trying to pull myself out of the funk. I have not worked out for over a week, I’m eating everything in sight and I was quite excited to head back to the gym tomorrow for spin class, taking it easy of course when yesterday my knee started hurting badly again. I’m being tested that is for sure but hoping for the best today.

Chris: Great statement. And you are not alone with the struggles. Keep working at it and it will happen. I tend to eat more when I’m bored and not active but I used to eat a ton when I got stressed. Finally got to the point where I would stop for a minute before I grabbed something to eat and then made a conscious decision to do something else like exercise or take a quick walk to take my mind off the food I was craving.
