My Workouts for the Week of 11/17-11/23 2008

I had a great week of workouts!  It’s so nice to get back into it.  In a few weeks we’ll be going to Jamaica so we look forward to using their state of the art fitness facility and possibly taking some of their fitness classes.  Yoga on the beach anyone?  I have never done yoga but we are thinking about it.

On to this week….

Monday-
45 min. Bollywood Booty DVD
15 min. walk outside

Tuesday-
45 min. Walk Away the Pounds 3 mile Walk Slim
15 min. walk outside

Wednesday-
30 min. rebounding
18 min. Bollywood Booty Bonus selections
15 min. walk outside

Thursday-
35 min. Walk Away the Pounds 2 mile Walk Slim
15 min. walk outside

Friday-
10 min. walk outside

Saturday-
60 min. Spin class
20 min. Elliptical

Sunday-
50 min. Spin class
15 min. Elliptical

    Wow, yoga on the beach. Sounds wonderful. You really should try it. I find yoga to be a relaxing yet challenging workout. I bet it would be greatly enhanced by the sound of the waves!

    I made it to one fitness class this week, which was a HUGE step in getting back into a routine. Mostly because I was reminded how much I love working out.

    On Friday the Centre offered a fitness assessment to offer an incentive of sorts to make it through the holidays. I did a lot better than I thought I would, and look forward to improving these next six weeks.

    Ginny, congrats on making it to a fitness class and doing better than you thought you would with your assessment.

    Tanya, if I don’t have variety, I won’t stick with it LOL The Bollywood DVD is interesting. Definitely gives me something new and fun to do.

    Thanks Stephanie! I will definitely post photos of the resort fitness facility here and then I’ll link to all of our vacation photos once hubby has added them all to our album. He takes a ton of pictures and likes to fix them before adding them so it might take some time but I’ll be sure to post.

    Bollywood Booty is a DVD with Indian dance moves that focuses on the backside.

    Lainie, forgot to answer your question about weights. I do use hand weights at home and use firm bands and stuff like that but haven’t actually done weights at the gym for quite some time. I know I really should get back into that for sure.
