Young Woman Exercising on a Hill

Well so I dropped the ball last week and didn’t post workouts….umm maybe because there wasn’t much to write about. New week right?  And it wasn’t too bad, in fact it was really good.  I think I have somewhat of a cold but I’m trying to kick it quick because I have no time to be sick.  I am especially shocked at my Saturday accomplishment and look forward to what next weekend will bring. The body is a crazy thing I tell ya. It can really do more than you think.  At this point I know it’s a mind set issue that I need to work on.  But I still can’t wait until it’s all over ha ha!  Here are my workouts for the week.

Monday-

*Personal training
Time: 30 min.

Tuesday- Day off

Wednesday-

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

Thursday-

*Walk outside
Time: 1:04
Miles: 3.45

Friday-

*Personal training (upper body)
Time: 30 min.

Saturday-

*Walk outside
Time:  3:09
Miles:  9.62

Burned over 1300 calories on this walk.  Amazing!  We went on this walk with the intention to go as far as we could for 2 hours.  Made one wrong turn at the park and this was the result.  It was a struggle towards the end and I only had one breathing issue but I DID IT.  Now I know I can do the 13.2 mile 1/2 marathon.

Sunday-

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

Really good week of workouts!  I am especially shocked at how good I feel after the walk on Saturday.  Who knows what I’ll feel like tomorrow but I now know that I will be OK after the 1/2 marathon and will be able to enjoy our vacation.  I can’t wait to get the medal!  And we are going to enjoy our time and take pictures and video throughout the entire race.  Should be fun!

How was your week?  What kind of workouts did you accomplish?

Great job! I knew you could do it! I was busy last week walking. In the last two weeks I have walked over 20 miles! It is getting colder so I will have to start exercising in the house again!

Thank you so much for your support in this. I know you have got to be tired of me whining about it all ha ha. I feel much better about the race that is for sure.

And BIG CONGRATS to you for keeping up with your walks. You are doing a fabulous job.

You are progressing great, Angie! 🙂

Weather is getting colder here in Finland and a lot darker. I don’t much feel like taking a walk when it’s pitch dark outside. 🙁

Thank you, Satu! It’s going to start getting colder here soon I’m sure…it usually is by now but I think someone is looking out for me so I can get in a few long walks outdoors before the weather changes. I don’t blame you about not wanting to go out in the dark.
