Believe and You Can Achieve

Believe

This week was full of good workouts especially my Saturday achievement.  I walked over 10 miles with hubby and never imagined I could do that.  To know I can accomplish the upcoming 13.1 mile half marathon is exciting.  I am going to proudly wear that medal around ALL day long ha ha

I am definitely ready to get back to normal after this ‘training’ and maybe even add an extra fitness class to the list in the new year.  At this point, I’m pretty sure long distance anything is not for me but I would ultimately like to walk some 5k’s and 10k races and maybe one day walk the Disney half marathon if it’s an option.  I really do enjoy running inside when I don’t have breathing issues but it doesn’t look promising that I’ll ever be able to run outdoors.  I’m OK with that because at least I tried.  Right?

Here are this weeks workouts.

Monday- Day off

Tuesday-

*Pilates
Time: 1 hr

Wednesday-

*Personal training
Time: 30 min.

*Weights
Time: 1 hr

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

Thursday-

*Walk outside
Time: 1:01
Miles: 3.41

Friday-

*Personal training
Time: 30 min.

Saturday-

*Walk outside
Time: 03:22
Miles: 10.63

Sunday-

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

This week is a bit different due to other obligations and weather but we’ll have to work around all of it.  The plan is 2 spin classes, 1 Pilates class, 2 personal training sessions and possibly 2 walks (might have to be treadmill walks at the gym instead of outside).

How did your workouts go this week?

Congrats on your 10-mile walk! If you can do 10, you can definitely do 13! You should do the Disney Half Marathon. I made the Walt Disney World Marathon my first one in January of this year and it was amazing! Definitely keep that medal on all day! I wore my through the airport and on the plane ride home. There’s only a limited time you get to wear the medal!

Thank you Allison! Never thought to wear the medal to the airport and on the plane but you know I will! And I wouldn’t mind doing the Disney 1/2 if they permit walking. That would be fun!

I think you are doing wonderful. Good luck with all the halfs – I know you can do it all.
