Workouts for the week are nothing to write home about however I am going to be getting back to normal here soon.  I am actually going to start doing more in home workouts while still holding a gym membership.  My last personal training session will be May 4th.  We are in the process of looking for a new gym and I’m pretty sure we found THE one so we’ll be making that transition too possibly doing double membership until my training is done but not quite sure. There have been some things going on at the current gym that we are just not happy with and don’t feel that they deserve our business any longer.  The gym we are looking to join has a TON of neat stuff like a resistance pool, regular pool, beautiful hot tub area, cardio equipment with TV’s (doubt I will use the TV but it’s cool), a spa (hello MASSAGES!) and more. The only problem is that it’s a much more difficult drive for Kev after work to get to the spin classes and it’s about 10 minutes or so more for me with the possibility for major traffic.

In a perfect world there would be a center for just spin/cycle classes and we could turn our garage into a home gym.  I know I’m dreaming!

Moving on to workouts for this past week:

Monday-

*Personal training
Time: 30 min.

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

Tuesday- Day off

Wednesday-

*Personal training
Time: 30 min.

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

Thursday-Saturday- Day off

Sunday-

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

I’m exhausted after a busy business week and weekend so I’m signing off.  Hope you have a great week!

What are your workout goals for this week?

Mine are to spin 3x, 3 personal training sessions, 2 in home workouts

My goal for the week is to “just do it” – no more excuses. Just be active for 5 days. I need to make it a habit once again, and then get more precise in what I do.

Great goal, Rhonda! I love that. I need to follow in your footsteps today because I am already at a disadvantage, it started snowing here and I won’t be able to make it to the gym tonight so I’ll miss personal training AND spin class. Yikes! Wonder how I will make up for it here at home. Oh the choices ha ha

No special goals for this week. I have yet to pick up my physical activity from the Holiday slump.

I’m starting to follow the NEAT program tomorrow. I’m a bit nervous about it!
