Luggage: Travel Mishaps

I have not had the most luck when it comes to luggage.  I am also not one that can pack light.

Almost every airline we have flown on has broken a wheel or ripped our luggage.  And my luggage always comes on the carousel with black marks like it was dragged across the tarmac.

And of course none of the airlines would do anything about it. I don’t know how they get away with that.  We have learned not to have any expectations but these airlines sure need to keep their luggage handlers accountable for all the damage.

As for packing light, that will always be  work in progress.  I wish I could pack light and get away with just going with a carry on but I don’t know that will ever be possible.

I just got a new piece of luggage last year and am already in need of a new piece.  I don’t personally like buying luggage sets because it can get expensive if you check more than one piece and I don’t need all the pieces.  And of course the checked bag rates going up are not going to make it any easier for people to travel.

I love spinner luggage the most.  It’s easier for me to roll along at the airport with the other bags I carry.  I’ll be searching for some new luggage again real soon.  What is your favorite type of luggage?

Don’t forget to get Master Lock cable luggage locks too.  These locks are awesome! We have them on each piece of luggage.  Very solid and TSA approved. And of course, you have to have some fun luggage tags too.  I bought these luggage tags for my stepdaughter and she loves them.

In addition to some new spinner luggage, I want a fun handbag too.  Kev would say I clearly don’t need any more purses but it would be nice to have a bright colored one for our trip to Roatan, Honduras. Don’t you think?
