It’s almost time for a reset. Kev and I are doing our first 3-Day Refresh healthy cleanse. We are doing this personally to get our health and energy back on track. Note: Remember to consult your physician and follow all safety instructions before beginning any exercise program or nutrition plan.
What Is a Healthy Cleanse?
It’s a program to help jump start a healthy lifestyle. I am personally needing something right now that will help me make better food choices going forward. The more I read about this program, the more I feel like it’s something that will help me a lot.
I have heard various opinions on the 3-day refresh program. But you never know until you try so we are going for it. We have researched it so we feel totally comfortable and safe doing it. We’ll be doing the refresh on a weekend!
I have our 3-Day Refresh kits ready to go. If you want to learn more and join us, let me know. We are doing our refresh January 28-30. That gives us time to prepare. I’m setting up a group specifically for this and the Ultimate Reset (a 21 day program we will probably do later in the year).
I want to do it right and give ourselves a week to start adding in more healthy veggies and fruits. (for those wondering, I’m not currently doing full on Keto/Low Carb. But I will most likely ease back into that at some point). I love the meal options on the 2B Mindset and Portion Fix programs so we might just mix it up. My ultimate goal is to eat more whole foods above anything else.
Fitness During a Cleanse
It’s suggested that you not do a major workout program leading up to, during & a few days after the refresh. So we are waiting to finish our first round of JOB 1. We are about 4 days behind as Kev was sick last week. Then we want to plan out what light fitness we’ll do before/during/after the refresh.
You CAN do yoga and very light workouts so I imagine we’ll do the yoga programs we have access to. I will also do light bouncing on the mini trampoline/rebounder. Something to keep us busy when/if we’re hungry. I also have plans for us to reorganize closets and declutter too. He will be SO excited.
I love that you are not starving yourself or just drinking liquids during this program. As you’ll see in the video above. The 3-Day Refresh has a list of approved fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, and dinner recipes. These are in the Program Guide that comes with the kit to make shopping and planning simple. We are already discussing what we’ll eat those 3 days and making our grocery list.
The Healthy Cleanse Program
The program is scientifically designed to help support your metabolism while nourishing your body the right way. And you get to eat REAL food unlike other ‘cleanses’ out there. I like the sound of this already. The only thing that might get us is the no caffeine part. We do love our coffee. We CAN have green tea or yerba mate. So we’ll definitely have that on hand because I don’t want to get a headache.

Speaking of fitness, Kev and I are talking about what we’ll do next. We will finish up JOB 1, the brand new 20 minute workout this week. Yep you heard that right….it’s only 20 minutes and it’s awesome. Then we have some time before we start the 3-Day Refresh. I’ll probably mix things up and try out sample workouts to see what might be the best fit for me. And I’ll do some cycling, rebounding, etc.
