Last Sunday we adopted Wilbur, a 3 year old cat who was dropped off to our local no kill shelter Helping Paws because his family was losing their home and didn’t have a place to live. He’s adorable but he’s just like a kitten and into everything. I know it’s only the 1st week home and we have a lot of work ahead of us but he’s climbing our Blue & Gold Macaw’s bird cage and has jumped in the turtle cage. So we are busy looking for ways to keep him occupied and to keep him away from those two things specifically. I’m willing to look past anything else he does ha ha but we do have to look out for the safety of our other pets. I’m sure it will get easier as the weeks go on. There has already been such a difference since last week.
OK, that has nothing to do with weight loss/fitness so we’ll move on. How did your workouts go this past week? The last few weeks for me were pretty much a bomb. I’m ready to get back into a set schedule but until Wilbur the cat gets acclimated, I workout when I can. Here are my workouts for this week.
Monday- Day off
Tuesday-
*Mow the lawn
Forgot to put on my heart rate monitor but I’m sure it was over 800 calories for 1+ hours
Wednesday-
*20 Minute Turbo Jam workout
Time: 20 min.
Calories burned: 264
Thursday-
*Turbo Jam Fat Blaster w/weighted gloves
Time: 30 min.
Calories burned: 398
Friday- Day off
Saturday-
*Spin class

Calories burned: 1052
Sunday- Day off
We are going to be doing a June challenge here on the blog so be on the lookout for a post about it on Tuesday so you can start on Wednesday. I’m excited about the goodies that you are going to have the chance to win if you participate. I’m still working on the challenge so it’s not all set in stone so if you have any suggestions don’t hesitate to post here ASAP. What I can tell you is that the challenge will have nothing to do the number on the scale.
Happy Sunday,
