Need more fun healthy smoothie recipes? Green Smoothie Bible is your guide.
I was sent The Green Smoothie Bible with 300 delicious recipes to review. This book is full of yummy yummy goodness. For those of you who don’t like to eat fruits (like me) or veggies, you can drink them. This book has so many great recipes and also explains the many health benefits of smoothies.
In the book you’ll find out what the big deal is about greens, the protein myth, how green smoothies can help with weight loss and much more. I’m still reading the book but my favorite part of the book was the tips they gave on the best way to blend green smoothies. Blend greens and liquid first? I should have known that trick to make it easier to blend altogether. Good stuff.
Here is the section of the book that they gave me permission to share with you.

Hey Angie–thanks for posting this great info! I look forward to trying out the recipe with grapes, oranges, chia seeds, walnut oil, etc…
A recipe my wife and I love (have almost every morning) is:
1/4 Can coconut milk–many health benefits + high amount of healthy fats
4-oz. Pure, not from concentrate pomegranate juice (anti-plaquing benefits for arterial health).
1 handful of fresh spinach (believe it or not, spinach!)
1 Scoop undenatured whey protein powder (high level of cysteine–strong detoxification properties)
We blend with a little bit of ice and water, and enjoy a great breakfast!
Thanks again for your post, Angie.
