Fitness This Week

It was good to get back into workouts this week.  I truly have had a challenging few months and was just not into it to be honest. I have never really felt this way so it’s been a downer for sure.

I have caught up on some much needed sleep although that is still a work in progress with having to get up with kitty in the middle of the nights lol  BUT we will get through it!

I’m feeling good about what I did accomplish this week because I thought about skipping out and starting Monday.  We all know how that goes!  So I just did what I felt like doing and will go full force this coming week.  Meaning strength+cardio AND eating right.

So here are this week’s workouts. Nothing to really write home about but at least I didn’t just wait to start back up on Monday.  I did miss getting my sweat on!

Monday- Off

Tuesday-

*Mow lawn
Time: 1 hr
Calories burned: 963

Wednesday-Thursday- Off

Friday-

*Elliptical
Time: 20 min.
Calories burned: 298

+50 stability ball crunches

Saturday-

*Spinning
Time: 40 min.
Calories burned: 476

+50 stability ball crunches

Sunday- Off

Looking forward to getting back into my routine although I still have to work around the kitty issue.  I WILL make it work because I have some lofty goals like losing 100 lbs, walking another race (preferably the Reggae Marathon 10k either this Dec. or next) and I might like to get my spinning certification at some point.  We shall see but those are just a few things I look forward to in the near future.

What are some of your goals over the next year?

It’s important to keep your work out goals realistic. If they are unattainable you won’t even try. Take small steps each day towards improvements.

Yep, you are right! I’ll definitely keep them realistic.
