Stayed the same this week. I am having major issues with dessert (can you say get the brownies outta here?). I have got to stop this madness. Honestly, I am having a hard time getting back into my groove with food and portions plus choosing healthy desserts. I did however start to be more aware of my daily sodium intake and that has been going well. I used to put a dash of salt on veggies and I stopped doing that. YEA!
So although I’m feeling a bit bummed that I haven’t been eating the best way I can most of the time, I know it’s something I really have to work on and hopefully by staying accountable, I’ll change that.
Here are my stats for the week:
Current weight: 220
Goal weight: 140
Pounds left to go: 80
How did you do this week? Check in! Stay accountable.
Sounds like you have the awareness you need for success. As for sweets, I definitely feel you. My answer is a healthy hot chocolate made with raw cocoa powder, almond milk, coconut milk, and stevia. Sweet and rich but really good for you! You could do the same with brownies.

I give you credit for posting everything and keeping accountable every week. You’ve got a lot of sticktoitness. I’m still in the thinking about doing something stage. I hope I grow out of it when the kids are both in college.

Dessert is my weakness, too! But, I’ve found a few alternatives recently – have you tried VitaTops? Any of their chocolate ones do the trick for me! And they only have 100 calories, plus fiber and protein. I’ve also been making lots of protein shakes with chocolate protein powder, or vanilla protein powder and fruit. Oh, and Skinny Cow has new Truffle Bars – only 100 calories. See, I told you I LOVE dessert. 😉
BTW, good for you for cutting back on salt!
Have a great weekend! ;0
