Today’s Tip: Baby Steps
Take small steps towards your health and fitness goals. Remember that this is a lifestyle change so you’ll make changes over time. If you try to make too many changes, you’ll find yourself overwhelmed and that is when many people just give up altogether.
Start out easy by choosing one or two goals a month for the first 3-6 months and then you can add on from there. I can almost guarantee that if you take small, baby steps towards your health and fitness goals, you’ll have the success you desire. Here are some ideas of simple baby steps you can take towards a healthier lifestyle.
- Walk 10 min. a day
- Give up one soda a day and replace it with a glass of water
- Try one new fruit or vegetable a month
- Eat breakfast
- Add a new exercise to your routine
