Happy Father’s Day and workouts

Disclosure: This post may contain referral/affiliate links.

Wishing all the great dad’s out there a Happy Father’s Day!  We had a very busy and fun weekend but tiring.  A family reunion on Saturday was great but it sure wiped us out. Still tired but looking forward to a better week as far as exercise and eating goes.

Yes, I am really learning to listen to my body and take it easy when I need to.  I think I’ll be ready to get back to my normal workouts next week YEA!  Finally!  I am going to do my best again this week though.

I have a meeting with a personal trainer at our new gym tomorrow night and I’m looking forward to that.  Kimberly and I talked on Friday and I think we will be a good fit.  I sure wish I could keep training with her after my initial complimentary consult but the funds right now won’t permit that.  Hubby even offered me his free consult and she said that was fine but I really want him to have it.  He’s so good to me!

I’ll let ya’ll know how it goes!  I truly can’t wait until we are at the new gym full time starting August 1st. YEA!

Sounds like a good week planned. I did much better on our vacation where we could escape the heat in the mountains, plus didn’t have to do any chores or running the kids around.

I *loved* working with a trainer and miss it terribly. I’m a lousy trainer. 🙂

Looks like you’re doing pretty well on your own!

    Thanks ladies!

I just posted about my experience with the LA Fitness personal trainer. It was great!

Cammy, great to hear you enjoyed working with a trainer. I can definitely see now why.
