How To Make Your Own {Healthy} Peanut Butter Cups
Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Ingredients
- 1 bag Vegan Chocolate chips (Trader Joe’s)
- Natural Peanut Butter (Costco)
- Vanilla
Directions
- Place cupcake liners in a muffin pan.
- Add 1/2 bag of the chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and melt them in microwave for approx 1-2 minutes (watch carefully so they don’t burn). Stir.
- Then put 2 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter in a separate microwavable bowl and add approx 1 tbsp of vanilla to it.
- Warm peanut butter mixture up in microwave so it turns to liquid (about 30 seconds). Stir.
Next grab a small spoon and add a little chocolate to coat the bottom of each liner and then add a little peanut butter mixture next.
Then melt the remaining chocolate chips to cover the peanut butter center.
Freeze and enjoy.
We made 14 but only had 1 bag of chocolate chips and it wasn’t enough to cover the peanut butter (as you see in the pictures). But it was still yummy!
Tip: Keep the homemade chocolate peanut butter cups in the freezer or they get really soft and don’t turn out as well. Take out to soften as needed!

Thanks. Those look really good and easy to make. I’ll try that with dark chocolate chips.
