You may recall when I mentioned last month that we are going to Roatan, Honduras for our big 2014 vacation. I recently found some fun Roatan travel videos from the Roatan Travel Network during our travel planning research.
We are really excited about our upcoming trip to Roatan, Honduras.
Our vacation is still a while out but we are going to be buying our plane tickets really soon. And hopefully soon we will choose the place where we’ll stay so we can book that too. Any accommodation suggestions for a family gathering (there will be 4 adults and 3 kids)?

I wouldn’t mind a tour of the mangroves when we go to Roatan. The one activity we are most excited about because we love it so much is snorkeling. I ran across this awesome free diving video from Roatan (it’s under 20 min.) an it’s just stunning. It’s a whole other world down there. If you haven’t ever snorkeled, we highly recommend it.

With regard to your question about accommodations, there are three main places to stay on Roatan (you can read about them at https://resortsroatan.com/5-features-of-the-best-roatan-resorts-part-1/). And there are relatively few, brand-name hotels or resorts. As a result, there is a vibrant vacation home rental market on Roatan.
