Missed posting last Sunday. We were so busy building a new shed that it slipped my mind. I was exhausted. I carried over 100 pieces of wood down our big yard. It’s hard work to build a shed, I don’t know how people do this every day and can’t even imagine those who build new homes. We have worked on the shed all week in between business and work and just finished our 2nd full weekend of shed building. It’s not quite done yet (unexpected computer issues for Kev) and it might be the end of the month before it’s complete because we have a lot of stuff coming up.
Last week on Wednesday I hopped on our new treadmill and did 22 min. (1.13 miles and 317 calories) and Friday I had to rake some leaves (15 min.) and then I got on the treadmill again for 20 min. (1.08 miles and 323 calories). I’m looking forward to the day I can get back to my kickboxing, boxing, etc. This week I’m starting with the online fitness and nutrition personal trainers which should be fun.
Here is the most updated picture of the shed for those who care ha ha
Here are my workouts for last week:
Monday- Day off
Tuesday-
*Treadmill
Time: 30 min.
Miles: 1.62
Calories burned: 420
Wednesday- Day off
Thursday-
*Strength/weights
Time: 15 min.
I did: diagonal front raises, side raises, upright rows, overhead arm extensions, shrugs, squats, lunges and heel raises.
I didn’t feel like working out so I had to push myself to do something (this week I was doing every other day hoping that helps me get back into the swing). I was feeling sorry for myself with this back thing and my feet are swollen so there was no way I was going to get any shoes on so I did 3 sets of 10 of all the above moves. It was good, my muscles were burning for sure.
Friday-
*Treadmill
Time: 30 min.
Miles: 1.66
Calories burned: 457
Saturday & Sunday- Shed building
The company Words to Sweat By was kind enough to send me the coolest workout towel for a quick review. I chose the spinning towel (obviously). The towel is adorable and came packaged in a white organza bag. I love it and almost don’t want to use it but hang it up on the wall to see the quote, “The bike is stationary but I am not” every time I get on the spin bike. The towel is 100% cotton and the size is 16×24. Perfect size towel for spinning. I would definitely buy these as gifts because they are so affordable. The next product from them I would like is the snack bag. So cute!

Hope you all had a great 4th of July holiday weekend!
What are your fitness goals for the week?

Hi Angie!
I have no trouble with exercise, but I have trouble writing blog posts!! I fell off the wagon and now I have difficulty getting back again. 🙁
*bangs her head on the wall*
I hope you get back in the swing exercise-wise. Good that your shed building kept you physcially active. 🙂
The shed looks good. What are those things on the roof?

I had a good workout today so hopefully I’m getting back at it. I keep getting that darn twitch in my back so hopefully that will just go away.
Regarding the shed, it is HARD work, man oh man. The shingles are sitting on top. Kev put 3 up there because it was our plan to do them but other things came up so he just left them up there. There are more than that though.
