Had a great week but sad it’s over! Mom and Dad were in town and Kev took off work. We did a lot of shopping and eating out. I missed a week worth of workouts except the morning of my b-day, April 1st I did wake up early and did one of my new Walk Away the Pounds dvd’s, the 5 mile Fat Burn. It was tough but I made it through. I made some pretty good food choices and mom was impressed with that. She really wanted to go out and buy me a birthday cake and I begged her to please not do it. Then at Bahama Breeze for my b-day dinner, they offer a free ice cream but I skipped that too because all I wanted was my free small Nutter Butter ice cream from the Cold Stone Creamery birthday club. And it was perfect! I know it’s not the best choice BUT it’s better than what I have done in the past for birthday’s (I would have had the cake AND the two free ice creams, blech). I know I still have a long way to go but I feel I’m doing pretty well.
We didn’t get much sleep this week, staying up late chatting and all that fun stuff so we are pretty exhausted. Now we need a vacation from the vacation ha ha
Sorry I missed my Wed. weekly weigh in, Friday tip and I don’t have a workout check in this week because well, I didn’t really do much of anything. Gotta get back to workouts this week. Also, I need to talk with Kev about when we’ll start Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. I have heard such great things about it so it should be fun.
