Here we are at another menu plan. We’ll see how far we can get this week. I wish I could cook faster AND I wish we had a bigger kitchen. Dreaming… But I’ll keep trying!
Like I mentioned in last night’s post, I made a white bean hummus that turned out awesome. Can’t wait for lunch today. Yum.
So on tap for this week is the following:
Monday- Pizza
Tuesday- Crockpot veggie lasagna with garlic bread
Wednesday- Homemade veggie burgers, potato fries and veggie or soup
Thursday- Leftover veggie lasagna/garlic bread
Friday- Grilled Scallops with Orange Scented Quinoa (recipe by Giada)
The weekend is Kev’s ha ha. We’ll see if we have leftovers or how we feel come the weekend. Lots of juicing to ensue.
This past weekend we did some more juicing and he’s really interested in doing a 10 day juice fast. I’m sooo nervous because I don’t care for kale, cucumber or celery and it’s important to have those I think. I can’t just drink fruit juices lol
He wants to start on a Friday night and end on a Monday. We watched the Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead documentary yesterday and loved it. The condition that Joe had is the same Kev has just not as bad YET. It’s still quite enough to be painful and annoying so I think 10 days is worth it to see if it helps him.
