Have you planned out your health & fitness goals for September yet?
My simple goal for September is to stay active.
Starting next Tuesday I want to try to start waking up earlier to either get in a workout first thing in the morning or to start my work earlier and then take a break to move mid morning. Haven’t quite decided on my plan yet. I might try it both ways to see what I prefer the most.
Our home gym aka garage is a mess from all the boating we have been doing, stuff is every where. I really want to get that picked up so I can get back in there and be inspired.
I’m going to work on my core and get back to moving daily. I want to follow the standing core exercises video below
I was also looking for ab exercises I can do standing up and found Fitness Blender’s Crunchless Ab workout video.
And here’s a little leg and butt workout I think we all might enjoy.
I want to also try to get back on the spin bike and do more on the mini trampoline too. Plus work my upper body. Sounds like a lot. Maybe too much. I’ll just change it up and do whatever I feel like with no set schedule.
I was doing so good on that for a while then stopped. Why do I do that to myself?
I’m also going to dig in and check out BODi’s On Demand service where you can stream their popular workouts. I’m dying to try Country Heat. Sounds like fun and might not even feel like a workout!
One of my most favorite ways to get fit is snorkeling. That’s me there in Roatan, Honduras with my WATERPROOF Polar Loop fitness watch. I think I’m going to wear my Polar A360 the next time around though.
And speaking of snorkeling we are heading back to Roatan in a few short weeks and I’ll be getting the best.workout.ever in daily. Can’t wait to stick our feet into the soft sand on West Bay Beach. You can keep up with our travels on our family travel blog.
As for my health goals, still working on that. I need to start eating breakfast more. I want to prep healthy meals/options because I get lazy and don’t want to try and figure meals out blah. What are some of your favorite breakfast options? I love, love, love smoothies and overnight oats so those will definitely be on the list.
