It’s here! I know, finally right? It’s time for the mini trampoline workout challenge. And up until now I have been telling you that it’s going to be a very simple challenge and it is. My goal with this challenge is just to help you get started rebounding. Exercise on the mini trampoline is a great workout and I want you all to experience it.
This week the mini trampoline workout challenge has only two requirements and those are
1) Hop on the mini trampoline for at least 12 minutes a day (you can break this up if you need to)
and
2) Be safe and have fun!
Seriously that is it! I know so many challenges out there have so many requirements and this one is pretty plain. There are no prizes other than the great way you will feel at the end of the week and finding a new exercise to add to your list of workouts.
Please feel free to check in here on this post daily and let everyone know how you are doing and/or join us over on my healthy weight loss and fitness Facebook fan page and stay accountable there. This blog post will show up as an entry there and everyone can comment there if you want.
If you have any questions let me know!
Will you be joining the mini trampoline workout challenge?

I’ve always wanted to try out the whole rebounding thing. It seems really fun ~ I guess I always wondered if it would really do any good.

You should try it! It is not only fun but it is a really good workout.
I did 15 min. on the mini trampoline this morning. Great start to the week.

I really want to try this one but my concern is I might be too heavy for it. I don’t want to humiliate myself by jumping on it and ending up breaking the trampoline.

Jessica,
Most of the trampolines will say a weight limit on them. Mine was 300 lbs weight limit so be sure to check it out before you make your purchase. Definitely don’t want to hurt yourself so research first.

Ok ~ I took your advice and got a mini tramp. OMG. I must be in worse shape than I thought!! After only a minute or two I was really feeling it!! I’ll keep it up, even if it’s only a couple minutes at a time throughout the day. I did some research online after reading about your challenge and I was pretty impressed with the benefits of jumping on a tramp. So thanks ~ I am enjoying it so far.

I’m so glad to hear you bought one! Take it easy at first and you’ll get into it more and more. Doing the basic health bounce where your feet really don’t come off of the rebounder is a great way to start. I can’t wait to hear more about your experience with it.
Be sure to head over to my Facebook fan page if you haven’t already and keep us updated on what you’re doing for the challenge. As for the time on it, do what you can even if you hop on for a few minutes a few times a day.
If you have young kids be sure to watch that they don’t put their little fingers near the springs. I just thought of that when I saw your picture with your little one.

I actually came by here tonight because I was shopping online for a rebounder and I remembered about this challenge. I’m thinking of getting a rebounder tramp for me and for my “indoor” 12 year old – some days he’s just too much like his mom! I thought it might be something fun for us to try this summer when it’s all hot and polleny outside and we don’t want to go out for our walks.

Did you find a rebounder? I would like to do another challenge sometime this summer. It really is a great indoor workout especially for those of us that are home bodies (that includes me!) ha ha
